KRIS KISS - OK

KRIS KISS - OK

London based recording artist Kris Kiss returns with a brand new freestyle, lacing his inimitable lyricism over a joint from Kendrick Lamar's first album.

“Everyone else wanted to be a DJ, I was the only one who wanted to be a singer/songwriter from an early age”. Kris Kiss' musical vision was clear cut from the start, inspired by Michael Jackson as a youngster, the talented vocalist set himself the goal of spreading his message around the globe while those around him focused on their locality. It's this irrepressible passion and ambition that makes Kris one of the UK's most exciting prospects, and someone who is sure to make a huge impact on the nation's musical landscape.

Growing up just outside London in St.Albans, Hertforshire, Kris began writing when he was just 10 years old, immersing himself in songwriting and poetry, and excelling in English at school receiving high praise from his teachers for his remarkable talent and dedication. At the turn of the Millennium his life changed when he discovered Eminem, a man who's lyrical content and delivery came as a revelation to Kris, sparking a renewed lust for writing. In fact, he considers the year 2000 such a significant milestone in his life that it's one of the meanings behind his pseudonym 2K (also representing the two Ks of his name).

From this point onwards Kris would dedicate his life to composing rhymes and poems, based mainly on his feelings and life experiences – using the space afforded by his distance from London and upbringing as an only-child to truly immerse himself in his writing. These formative years were spent honing and refining his craft, while also practising vocal performances – both rapping and singing – and recording his own songs.

Often locking himself in his bedroom for hours on end to create his own unique sound,Kris' single-minded vision was to establish himself as a unique force to be reckoned with. After being kicked out of three different schools, Kris enrolled himself on a college course where he learned to produce his own beats, highlighting his enterprising spirit and further strengthening his ability to work as a solo artist with complete creative control over his output. His time at the college also allowed him to make important connections with fellow music lovers, some of whom he has remained in touch with and continues to collaborate with.

Just two years ago Kris set himself the task of putting his lyrical skills to the test by entering open mic competitions. After many years of toiling away in private and organising local shows, this was to be a true test of how talented he really was. His self-belief and hard work proved to be a potent combination as he reached the National Grand finals of both Open Mic UK 2009 and Live & Unsigned 2010. Refusing to accept the notion that the music industry is impossible to penetrate, he has continued to work away on his songs, writing profusely without abating – all the while maintaining his focus on sharing his innermost thoughts and feelings with a worldwide audience.

Kris is currently putting the finishing touches to his debut mixtape – Imagine Reality. Working with Swindon-based Joe 90 and Guy Robin the mixtape focuses on Kris’s first true musical love Hip Hop.

With such a strong work ethic and unflinching dedication to his cause, there's no doubting that this young man will soon be living out his dreams and making his mark on global music scene.

REPORTS - GANGNAM STYLE KILLS

GANGNAM STYLE KILLS.

Following international reports, the first instance of a Gangnam Style death has occurred, and while the dance did not explicitly cause the individual’s death, the physical excursion from what is a demanding set of moves did.

Eamonn Kilbride's, husband and father of two, health problems came to a head while he was dancing Psy's Gangnam style which rendered his death intrinsically to the Korean rapper’s song and dance.

It is said that Professor Bernard Keavney, a consultant cardiologist at Newcastle University, has warned older men not to stray outside your comfort zone while dancing at their Christmas parties this year as the chance that they will come to grief is very small. But as with any form of untypical exercise, be somewhat measured.

PROSECUTION'S NEW WITNESS COULD BE VERY BAD FOR VYBZ KARTEL

PROSECUTION'S NEW WITNESS COULD BE VERY BAD FOR VYBZ KARTEL

As the trial date of January 21 for incarcerated dancehall entertainer Vybz Kartel and his co-accused approaches in relation to the murder of dancer Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams, it is said that speculations have been amped up on the Internet over the prosecution's main witness in the case.

Reports are that the man is the prosecution's star witness in the case because he escaped from the house where Lizard reportedly died and can put the artiste in the house at the time of the dancer's death.

It is said that the prosecution’s main witness reportedly escaped from Kartel's home on the same day it is suspected that Williams was reportedly killed at the same location.
Reports are that Williams and another man were taken to the entertainer’s house to give an account for a lost firearm.

However, both men were reportedly attacked with Williams being beaten and stabbed to death while the other man allegedly escaped.

Following reports, Williams’ body has not been found and the police had reported that they have video and audio recordings linking Vybz Kartel and his co-defendants to the killing. Ketones

ASHANTI CHEATED ON NELLY WITH HER PRODUCER?

It is said that for years RnB singer Ashanti has been allegedly pleading for her longtime rapper boyfriend Nelly to step up his game and claim her as his woman. A few months ago it was reported that he finally did and now, trouble in paradise.

International sources reported late this summer that Nelly was willing to come forward with their romance and they did exactly that shortly after this was reported.  Following this, it is said that a source close to Nelly had even leaked to the media that the rapper was preparing to propose to Ashanti this spring.

But apparently this isn’t going to happen now, as the same source recently confessed that Nelly is accusing Ashanti of cheating on him with her producer, Chink Santana.

It is said that the insider explained that Ashanti and Chink spent a lot of time together in the studio and when Nelly asked her point blank if they were having relations Ashanti said no, but that allegedly turn out to not be the truth.

Media sources recently learned that Nelly has completely cut Ashanti out of his life and is no longer considering marrying her.

JAH CURE WILL LAUNCH HIS 'WORLD CRY' ALBUM THIS WEEK

JAH CURE WILL LAUNCH HIS 'WORLD CRY' ALBUM THIS WEEK

International recording artiste Jah Cure has a busy week ahead, as he will launch his 'World Cry' album this week, and prepare to do two performances in two different continents over the next week.

The singer will return to Dubai in the U.A.E for a performance on December 13th  in the Hotel Atlantis.

“I am really looking forward to the performance because this time, it is an exclusive performance as only dignitaries and powerful business leaders really host events at exclusive venues like thisthey have to see you as a decent, top flight act to be allowed to perform in these venues,” he said.

He will leave Dubai and head to Kenya in east Africa to perform in that country’s national stadium on the 15th of December.  He is looking forward to a return to the African continent to shoot a music video and check out the ‘real Africa’, not the sanitized version in the tourist magazines.

“I plan to shoot a music video for a song I just wrote called ‘Mama Africa’. I want it to have an authentic feel so I plan to go to a local village and dress up like an African in my garbs, and hope that the Kenyans will share an authentic experience with I and I,” Jah Cure said.

During his last trip to Kenya, Jah Cure visited Kibera, the largest slum in Nairobi, and the second largest urban slum in Africa.

“It is one of the biggest slums in Africa, and I am the only artiste who ever walk through it, through the muck and dirt, and the people dem love I and I, mi stay there with them and share everything with them, so mi ah look forward to visiting them again,” he said.

The 2009 Kenya Population and Housing Census reports Kibera's population as 170,070, contrary to previous estimates of one or two million people, but the conditions in Kibera are extremely poor,
and most of its residents lack access to basic services, including electricity and running water.

The ‘World Cry’ singer launched a video for his popular single,
